Talk to your doctor before taking this medicine, if you:
- are allergic (hypersensitive) to Cyproheptadine or any of the other ingredients of this medicine
- have a history of bronchial asthma
- have intraocular pressure
- have hyperthyroidism
- have cardiovascular disease
- have hypertension
- If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor for advice before taking this medicine
- Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor has told you
- Take with or without food
- Measure the dose carefully. Use the measuring device that comes with this medicine
If you take more ABITOL PLUS
- If you take more, your doctor at once or contact the nearest casualty department
If you forgot to take ABITOL PLUS
- If you forget to take a dose, skip the missed dose. Take the next dose as usual. Do not take a double dose to make up for a forgotten dose
If you stop taking ABITOL PLUS
- Do not stop taking your medicine unless your doctor has told you to

- allergic reaction marked by rash, hives, itching, red, swollen, blistered, wheezing, tightness in the chest or throat, trouble breathing, swallowing, or talking, unusual hoarseness, or swelling of the mouth, face, lips, tongue, or throat
- worsening of liver problems
- fast heart beats
- trouble passing urine
- change in balance
- hallucinations
- mood changes
- seizures (fits)
- fever or chills
- not able to sleep
- any unexplained bruising or bleeding
- a burning, numbness or tingling feeling
- change in eyesight
- ringing in ears
- sweating a lot
