Talk to your doctor if you:
- are allergic to ABIWAYS or any other ingredients of this medicine
- are suffering from any seizure disorders
- have liver or kidney impairment or blood vessel disorders
- have any nervous system disorders
- have acute myocardial infarction
- are a smoker
Tell your doctor if you are taking,
- allopurinol (used to treat gout)
- carbamazepine, phenytoin, barbiturates (used to treat epilepsy)
- reserpine, propranolol (used to treat hypertension)
- frusemide (used to treat heart problems)
- cimetidine (used to treat ulcer)
- azithromycin (used to treat bacterial infection)
- Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor has told you
- The dose may vary depending upon the age and individual patient conditions
- This medicine should be swallowed whole with glass full of water
- Do not crush or chew the tablet
- It is preferably taken after meals
If you take more ABIWAYS
- If you take too many ABIWAYS or if someone else has taken your medicine, talk to your doctor immediately and you may need medical attention
- Symptoms of over dosage are: nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, flatulence, sleep disturbances
If you forget to take ABIWAYS
- Take it as soon as you remember it. However, if it is nearly time for the next dose, skip the missed dose. Do not take a double dose to make up for a forgotten dose. Never take two doses on the same day
If you stop taking ABIWAYS
- Without doctor advice do not stop taking ABIWAYS
Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.
