ACECLO SPAS Tablet is used to relieve pain and inflammation in:

• Rheumatoid arthritis (autoimmune disease causing inflammation of joints);
• Ankylosing spondylitis (arthritis of spine);
• Osteoarthritis (arthritis of joints);
• Lumbago (pain in muscles and joints of lower back);
• Menstruation (painful periods);
• Renal colic (kidney stones);
•  

ACECLO SPAS Tablet may also be prescribed for other conditions as determined by your doctor.

• Aceclofenac is a NSAID (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug), analgesic (pain reliever) and anti-pyretic (reduces fever) medicine. Aceclofenac inhibits an enzyme cyclo-oxygenase, which is responsible of production of prostaglandins in our body (prostaglandins are natural chemicals in our body which promote inflammation). This causes reduction of fever and pain.

• Drotaverine is an antispasmodic agent. Drotaverine relieves spasm of smooth muscles and has a vasodilatory effect. Drotaverine acts by inhibiting the enzyme phosphodiesterase 4 (PDE4) and corrects the cyclic AMP (cyclic adenosine monophosphate) and calcium imbalance which relieves the smooth muscle spasm and pain.

• The dosage of oral tablet of ACECLO SPAS Tablet depends on the age, weight and medical condition of an individual. Take ACECLO SPAS Tablet as prescribed by your doctor.
• You are advised to take the tablet with or after food.
• Do not discontinue the medication without consulting a doctor.
• If you miss a dose of ACECLO SPAS Tablet, please take it immediately once you remember. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, then skip the missed dose and continue with your regular dosing schedule. Do not take a double dose to make up for the missed dose.

If you have taken an overdose of Amlodipine besylate + Atenolol, please contact your doctor immediately.

Symptoms of overdose of ACECLO SPAS Tablet are:

• Headache
• Nausea, vomiting, epigastric pain, gastrointestinal irritation, gastrointestinal bleeding
• Disorientation, excitation, coma
• Drowsiness, dizziness
• Tinnitus (ringing in the ears)
• Hypotension
• Respiratory depression
• Fainting
• Convulsions

Drugs that interact with ACECLO SPAS Tablet:

• Angiotensin converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitors
• Analgesics
• Antimuscarinics
• Aspirin
• Benzodiazepines
• Digoxin
• Lithium
• Methotrexate
• Warfarin

Most common side effects of ACECLO SPAS Tablet are:

• Nausea
• Dyspepsia (pain or uncomfortable feeling in stomach)
• Abdominal pain

Please stop your tablets and contact your physician immediately if you have

• appearance of blood clots in your body;
• breathlessness;
• discolouration of the skin on the face and neck.

• you are on oral corticosteroids, warfarin, selective serotonin-reuptake inhibitors or antiplatelet agents.

Tell your doctor if

• you are allergic to ACECLO SPAS Tablet or to any ingredients of this medicine.
• you are taking any other drugs, OTC medications, herbal products or nutritional supplements.
• you have peptic ulcer.
• you have history of gastro-intestinal ulceration, bleeding or perforation.
• you have ulcerative colitis or crohn’s disease.
• you have bleeding diathesis.
• you have acute rhinitis.
• you have asthma.
• you are bedridden.
• you are planning a surgery or any procedure.
• you are pregnant or trying to conceive or are breastfeeding.

ACECLO SPAS Tablet should be stored in a cool, dry place. Keep the medicine away from sunlight and do not freeze the medicine. Keep the medicine out of reach from children.

ACECLO SPAS Tablet causes drowsiness and dizziness in some individuals. Avoid driving if you are taking ACECLO SPAS Tablet.

There are no dietary restrictions if you are taking ACECLO SPAS Tablet.

4. Is ACECLO SPAS Tablet addictive?
