What is ACNEDAP GEL?
- ACNEDAP GEL contains Dapsone which belongs to antibacterials
- It works by stopping the production of folic acid in certain bacteria, therefore stopping them growing

Talk to your doctor before using this medicine, if you:
- are allergic to Dapsone or any of the other ingredients of this medicine
- have glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase deficiency (G6PD)
- have methemoglobinemia
- Always apply this medicine exactly as your doctor has told you
- Apply gel twice a day
- Gently wash and pat dry the areas of your skin where you will apply gel
- Apply a pea-sized amount of gel in a thin layer to the areas of your skin that have acne
- Rub gel in gently and completely
- It may feel gritty and you may see particles in the gel
- Make sure to put the cap back on the gel tube. Close it tightly
- Wash your hands after applying gel
- If your acne does not get better after using Gel for 12 weeks, talk to your doctor about continuing treatment
If you apply more ACNEDAP GEL
- If you (or someone else) accidentally swallow this medicine you should tell your doctor at once or contact the nearest casualty department
If you forgot to apply ACNEDAP GEL
- Do not apply double dose to make up for a forgotten dose. If you forget to apply gel apply it as soon as you remember it and then apply the next dose at the right time
If you stop applying ACNEDAP GEL
- Do not stop applying this medicine unless your doctor instructs you to do so
