ADVACAN 0.25mg Tablet is used to prevent the rejection of transplanted organ in patients who have undergone a kidney, liver or heart transplant. Transplant rejection occurs when the organ recipients immune system attacks the transplanted organ.

ADVACAN 0.25mg Tablet helps prevent transplant rejection by suppressing the immune system. ADVACAN 0.25mg Tablet belongs to the group of drugs called anti-rejection medications. ADVACAN 0.25mg Tablet is used in combination with other medicines to prevent transplant rejection in organ transplant patients. ADVACAN 0.25mg Tablet may also be used to treat other conditions as determined by your doctor.

The dosage of ADVACAN 0.25mg Tablet may vary based on the patients age, gender, body weight, medical condition and response to treatment. Always follow your physicians instructions and/or the directions on the prescription drug label.

Swallow the ADVACAN 0.25mg Tablet tablets whole with a full glass of water. Do not crush or chew the ADVACAN 0.25mg Tablet tablets.

Always take ADVACAN 0.25mg Tablet tablets in the same way everyday, either with or without food.

To note:Do not take ADVACAN 0.25mg Tablet with grapefruit juice.

ADVACAN 0.25mg Tablet can interact with the following types of medicines: antibiotics, antifungal medicines, high blood pressure medicines, heart medicines, epilepsy medicines, HIV/AIDS medicines and cholesterol-lowering medications. Avoid eating grapefruit or drinking grapefruit juice as well.
