What ALIGHT PLUS is used for?

• It is used to treat acne vulgaris in people 12 years of age and older. Acne vulgaris is a condition in which the skin has blackheads, white heads and pimples
• It is used to treat mild to moderate acne(spots)

Tell your healthcare provider about all the medicines you take, including prescription and over-the-counter medicines, vitamins, and herbal supplements especially if you are using:

• topical medicines that contain sulfur, resorcinol or salicylic acid, alpha hydroxy or glycolic acid
• using or any other topical preparation such as erythromycin metronidazole or aminoglycosides

• Always apply this gel exactly as your doctor has told you
• You should use ALIGHT PLUS once a day. Wash as normal, rinse well and pat your skin dry
• Apply a small amount of gel in a thin layer to the whole of the area where you usually get the spots
• It should be used for a maximum of 12 weeks
• You may need to use more than one tube of ALIGHT PLUS during each course of treatment
• Try not to pick or squeeze spots as this can make your acne worse and even lead to scarring
• Do not use ALIGHT PLUS in or on your mouth, eyes or vagina
• It can make your skin sensitive to sun and the light from tanning beds and sunlamps

If you use more ALIGHT PLUS 

• If you apply too much ALIGHT PLUS just wash your treated skin with plenty of water. There may be a chance of increase in skin irritation, contact your doctor or your local hospital

If you forget to use ALIGHT PLUS 

• Use it as soon as you remember and then continue to use as your doctor has told you. Do not apply a double dose to make up for a forgotten application

If you stop using ALIGHT PLUS 

• If you stop applying too soon your infection may come back again or get worse
• Do not stop taking ALIGHT PLUS unless your doctor tells you to do so
