AMICOLON Capsule is used as a supplement in deficiency disorders. This combination is also used to improve digestive health,  enhance immune function, and reduce the risk of infections.

In AMICOLON Capsule, Glutamine belongs to the class of drugs called amino acids. It works by increasing the glutathione synthesis in the intestine. Glutathione helps in maintaining the intestinal integrity. The exact mechanism of Glutamine in immunomodulatory action is still unknown.

Probiotics are live bacteria that acts by inducing fermentation in the gut and helps in controlling the growth of harmful bacteria in the gut. Prebiotics are indigestible carbohydrates, which nourishes the good bacteria and helps maintain a healthy digestive system.

Zinc is a mineral, which acts by improving the absorption of electrolytes and regeneration of intestinal epithelial cells. It also helps in improving the immune response against pathogens.

Swallow the capsule whole, but do not open or chew the capsule. Take AMICOLON Capsule with or without food.

If you miss a dose of AMICOLON Capsule, please take it immediately once you remember. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, then skip the missed dose and continue with your regular dosing schedule. Do not take a double dose to make up for the missed dose.
