AQUAZIDE 25mg Tablet is used for the treatment of fluid retention associated with the following conditions:

• Congestive heart failure
• Cirrhosis of liver
• Kidney disorders
• Oedema
• Hypertension
• Diabetes

AQUAZIDE 25mg Tablet may also be prescribed for other conditions as determined by the doctor.

AQUAZIDE 25mg Tablet belongs to the class of drugs called thiazide diuretics. This drug acts by decreasing the reabsorption of electrolytes from renal tubules. This leads to an excess elimination of fluids from the body.

The dosage and the drug form depend on the age, weight and medical condition of an individual. Take AQUAZIDE 25mg Tablet as prescribed by your doctor.

Swallow the tablet whole. Do not crush or chew the tablet. AQUAZIDE 25mg Tablet can be taken with food or an empty stomach. It is advised to take AQUAZIDE 25mg Tablet at least 4 hours prior to bed time as it may cause frequent urination.

If you miss a dose of AQUAZIDE 25mg Tablet, please take it immediately once you remember. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, then skip the missed dose and continue with your regular dosing schedule. Do not take a double dose to make up for the missed dose.

• Muscle pain
