What ARACHITOL 3LAC is used for?
It is used for treating
- osteoporosis
- hypoparathyroidism
- vitamin d resistant rickets
- familial hypophosphatemia
Talk to your doctor before taking ARACHITOL 3LAC injection if you:
- are allergic to cholecalciferol or to any of the ingredients of this medicine
- have hypercalcemia
- have hypervitaminosis
- have malabsorption syndrome
Tell your doctor if you are taking medicine such as
- other medicines or supplements containing vitamin D
- Digoxin,a medicine used to treat heart ailments
- Phenytoin used for treating fits
- medicines used for sleep disturbance (e.g. barbiturates)
- Paraffin oil, a medicine used to treat constipation
- cholesterol lowering medicines (e.g. cholestyramine)
- Hydrocortisone, prednisolone medicine used to treat asthma
- Bendroflumethiazide,medicine used to treat high blood pressure
- Actinomycin,a medicine used to treat cancer
- This medicine will be given to you by your doctor or a nurse
If you take more ARACHITOL 3LAC
- If you take more ARACHITOL 3LAC, contact your doctor
If you forget to take ARACHITOL 3LAC
- If you have missed one or more doses
- Do not take a double dose to make up for a forgotten dose
If you stop taking ARACHITOL 3LAC
- Consult your doctor before you stop taking this medication
Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them
