What ARBIVIT 3 FORTE is used for?It is used,

• for maintaining healthy bones and teeth.
• to maintain levels of the vitamin D3 levels in your body.

INTERACTIONS:

Tell your doctor if you are taking,

• other medicines or supplements containing vitamin D.
• Digoxin,a medicine used to treat heart ailments.
• Phenytoin used for treating fits.
• medicines used for sleep disturbance (e.g. barbiturates).
• Paraffin oil, a medicine used to treat constipation.
• cholesterol lowering medicines (e.g. cholestyramine).
• Hydrocortisone, prednisolone medicine used to treat asthma.
• Bendroflumethiazide,medicine used to treat high blood pressure.
• Actinomycin,a medicine used to treat cancer.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:

• Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor has told you

SIDE EFFECTS:

Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.

SERIOUS:

• allergic reaction.
• Too much calcium in blood and urine marked by loss of appetite, constipation, stomach ache, muscle weakness, drowsiness or confusion.

• If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, think you may be pregnant, or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor for advice before taking this medicine.

CHILDREN AND ADOLESCENTS:

• Consult your doctor before taking this medicine.

STORAGE:

• Keep out of the reach of children.
• Do not use after expiry date.
• Store at room temperature 15ºC to 25ºC.
