Talk to your doctor before taking this medicine, if you:
- are allergic to Bambuterol and Montelukast or to any other ingredients of this medicine
- are diabetic
- have a history of heart disease, irregular heart rhythm or chest pains (angina)
- have an overactive thyroid gland
- have problems with your liver or kidneys
- are planned for surgery, including for dental surgery
- have a family history of glaucoma (increased pressure in the eye)
- have low levels of potassium in your blood
- If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or planning to have a baby, ask your doctor for advice before taking this medicine
Tell your doctor if you are taking medicines such as:
- steroid medicines (such as prednisolone)
- theophylline or aminophylline medicines (for breathing problems)
- medicines for high blood pressure or heart conditions such as propranolol and eye drops for glaucoma such as timolol
- aminophylline, water tablets (diuretics)
- adrenaline, also known as epinephrine (a medicine that stimulates the heart)
- medicines containing ipratropium
- phenobarbital, phenytoin (used for treatment of epilepsy)
- rifampicin (used to treat tuberculosis and some other infections)
- Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor has told you
- This medicine can be swallowed with a whole glass of water
- Do not crush or chew the tablet
If you take more BAMMON
- If you have taken more BAMMON , tell your doctor or go to the nearest hospital straight away
If you forget to take BAMMON
- If you forget to take a dose, take it as soon as you remember. If it is almost time to take the next dose, wait until then. Do not take a double dose to make up for a forgotten dose
If you stop taking BAMMON
- Do not stop taking BAMMON without talking to your doctor first
Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.

Bambuterol
- an allergic reaction - swollen face, skin rash, breathing problems, low blood pressure (feeling faint)
- muscle weakness, thirst
- heart problems, such as an irregular heartbeat
Montelukast
- agitation including aggressive
- irritability behavior or hostility
- restlessness
- bad or vivid dreams
- sleep walking
- depression
- suicidal thoughts and actions
- disorientation (confusion, including suicide)
- feeling anxious
- tremor
- hallucinations (seeing or hearing trouble sleeping things that are not really there)
Bambuterol
- trembling or shaking
- headache
- being restless
- awareness of your heart beating (palpitations)
- sudden painful muscle tightness (cramp)
- difficulty in sleeping
Montelukast
- abdominal pain
- headache
- upper respiratory infection
- diarrhoea, nausea, vomiting
- rash
- fever
Bambuterol
- feeling agitated
- faster or irregular heartbeat
Montelukast
- allergic reactions - rash, swelling of the face, lips, tongue, and/or throat which may cause difficulty in breathing or swallowing
- behaviour and mood related changes [dream abnormalities, including nightmares, trouble sleeping, sleep walking, irritability, feeling anxious, restlessness, agitation including aggressive behaviour or hostility, depression]
- dizziness, drowsiness, pins and needles/numbness, seizure nosebleed
- dry mouth, indigestion
- bruising, itching, hives
- joint or muscle pain, muscle cramps
- weakness/tiredness, feeling unwell, swelling
