CHESTON COLD Syrup oral drop/suspension/syrup/ tablet is used for the treatment of nasal congestion and fever.

In CHESTON COLD Syrup, Cetirizine belongs to the class of drugs called anti-histamine agents. It works by blocking the action of histamine, which is a chemical released during allergic reactions. Thus, it helps in reducing the symptoms of allergic reactions.

Paracetamol belongs to the class of drugs called analgesics and anti-pyretic. The drug acts by improving the pain threshold and blocking the action of certain enzymes. Thus, it reduces pain.

Phenylephrine is a nasal decongestant. It works by reducing the swelling in the nose, thereby lowering the discomfort and making it easy to breathe.

• Swallow the tablet Do not crush or chew the tablet. Take CHESTON COLD Syrup with or without food.
• The oral drops should be taken as per the instructions provided on the leaflet.
• In case of syrup/suspension , shake the suspension well before taking each dose so as to ensure the uniform mixing of the drug. Use a measuring cup while taking each dose.

If you miss a dose of CHESTON COLD Syrup, please take it immediately once you remember. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, then skip the missed dose and continue with your regular dosing schedule. Do not take a double dose to make up for the missed dose.
