LONGIFENE DS Tablet syrup/tablet is used for the treatment of the following conditions.

• Motion sickness
• Nausea
• Vomiting
• Migraine
• Skin disorders

LONGIFENE DS Tablet may also be prescribed for other conditions as determined by the doctor.

LONGIFENE DS Tablet belongs to the class of drugs called anti-histamine agents. It works by blocking the nerve pathways, which are involved in producing nausea, and migraine. It also inhibits the histamine receptors, thereby providing relief from allergic reactions.

The dosage and the drug form depend on the age, weight and medical condition of an individual. Take LONGIFENE DS Tablet syrup, tablet as prescribed by the doctor.

• In case of syrup , shake the suspension well before taking each dose so as to ensure the uniform mixing of the drug. Use a measuring cup while taking each dose.
• Swallow the tablet Do not crush or chew the tablet.

If you miss a dose of LONGIFENE DS Tablet, please consult your doctor immediately.

• the foil or packaging is torn or shows signs of tampering or there is discolouration.

• Inform the doctor if you are taking any other drugs, OTC medications, herbal products or nutritional supplements.
• Notify your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

• Inform your doctor about the usage of LONGIFENE DS Tablet before any scheduled surgery.

LONGIFENE DS Tablet should be stored at room temperature (15-30C) away from sunlight.

2. Can I take Aspirin for treating headache while on LONGIFENE DS Tablet?

It is advisable not to take any drug while on LONGIFENE DS Tablet as it may cause drug interactions. Therefore, please consult your doctor before taking any drug.
