RESIHANCE 40mg Tablet is used for the treatment of colorectal cancer. It is also used to treat tumours of the stomach and oesophagus. 

RESIHANCE 40mg Tablet may also be prescribed for other conditions as determined by the doctor.

RESIHANCE 40mg Tablet belongs to the class of drugs called anti-cancer agents. It works by slowing or preventing the growth of cancer cells in the body.

The dosage and the drug form depends on the age, weight and medical condition of an individual. Take RESIHANCE 40mg Tablet as prescribed by your doctor.

Swallow the tablet whole. Do not crush or chew the tablet. Take RESIHANCE 40mg Tablet with or without food.

If you miss a dose of RESIHANCE 40mg Tablet, please take it immediately once you remember. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, then skip the missed dose and continue with your regular dosing schedule. Do not take a double dose to make up for the missed dose.

• Avoid consumption of alcohol as it may cause excessive drowsiness when taken with RESIHANCE 40mg Tablet.
• Inform your doctor if you have rapid swelling of lips, throat and tongue.
• Do not exceed the dose more than what is prescribed.
• Do not stop using the medication abruptly unless instructed by the doctor. Discontinuing the medication suddenly may cause the illness to return.

You are advised not to take RESIHANCE 40mg Tablet if

• it has passed the expiry date of the medicine printed on the pack.
• the foil or packaging is torn or shows signs of tampering or there is discolouration.

• Tell your doctor if you are allergic to RESIHANCE 40mg Tablet.
• Inform the doctor if you are taking any other drugs, OTC medications, herbal products or nutritional supplements.
• Inform your doctor about the pre-existing heart, liver or kidney problems.
• Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

1. How long can I take RESIHANCE 40mg Tablet?

RESIHANCE 40mg Tablet should be used only for the prescribed duration. Do not discontinue unless instructed by your doctor.

2. Do I need to undergo any tests while taking RESIHANCE 40mg Tablet?

Yes, you should monitor your blood pressure while taking RESIHANCE 40mg Tablet. Also, you have to undergo frequent blood tests and liver function tests while on RESIHANCE 40mg Tablet.

3. Is it safe to plan for a pregnancy while on RESIHANCE 40mg Tablet?

No, it is not advisable to conceive while taking RESIHANCE 40mg Tablet as it may affect the foetus. Use birth control pills to prevent pregnancy. However, please consult your doctor for further information.

4. Is it common to have unusual vaginal bleeding while taking RESIHANCE 40mg Tablet?
