SUMITREX 100mg Tablet is prescribed for the treatment of an acute migraine attack with or without aura. It works by reducing the swelling of blood vessels around the brain. This medicine helps relieve migraine symptoms such as headaches, pain, sensitivity to light/sound, nausea, and vomiting. It belongs to a group of drugs called triptans. This medicine may also be used to treat other conditions as determined by your doctor.

The dosage of SUMITREX 100mg Tablet prescribed to each patient will vary. Always follow your physician’s instructions and/or the directions on the prescription drug label.

SUMITREX 100mg Tablet should be used only during a migraine attack. It should not be used routinely.

Any medication taken in excess can have serious consequences. If you suspect an overdose of SUMITREX 100mg Tablet, seek medical attention immediately.

However, some may be serious and may require the individual to inform the doctor or visit the nearest hospital immediately.

It is pertinent to note that side effects of SUMITREX 100mg Tablet cannot be anticipated. If any side effects of SUMITREX 100mg Tablet develop or change in intensity, the doctor should be informed as soon as possible.

• Unusual taste in your mouth and nasal irritation
