In TIMOLET PLUS Drops, Pilocarpine belongs to the class of drugs called as the cholinergic agonists. This drug acts by binding to muscarinic receptors. This promotes iris circular muscle contraction, which decreases the intracellular pressure and facilitates the outflow of aqueous humour.
Timolol belongs to the class of drugs called as the beta-adrenergic blockers. This drug acts by blocking the sympathetic nervous system, which decreases the production of aqueous humour and reduces the pressure in the eye.

Instil one or two drops of TIMOLET PLUS Drops into the conjunctival sac of the eye and close your eyes for at least 10 minutes. Do not allow the container tip to touch the eye or its surrounding tissue.
