What TOFICALM is used for?
It is used as an adjuvant therapy
- to control psychosomatic symptoms such as headache, fatigue, tachycardia, sweating
- for paroxysmal supraventricular tachycardia
- to improve intestinal passage in patients with irritable colon syndrome
- for hyper motor dysfunction of the biliary ducts
- for reduction of preoperative anxiety
Talk to your doctor before taking this medicine, if you:
- are allergic to Tofisopam or any of the other ingredients of this medicine
- Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor has told you
- This medicine can be swallowed with a whole glass of water
- Do not crush or chew the tablet
- The average daily dose is 1 to 2 tablets one to three times daily (50 to 300 mg per day). In case of occasional administration 1 to 2 tablets should be used
If you take more TOFICALM
- If you take more TOFICALM or if someone else has taken your medicine, talk to your doctor immediately and you may need Medical attention
If you forgot to take TOFICALM
- If you forget to take a dose, take it as soon as you remember, unless it is time for your next dose. Do not take a double dose to make up for a forgotten dose
If you Stop taking TOFICALM
- Do not stop taking TOFICALM without talking to your doctor
