
XYLONUMB 2% Injection is a topical anesthetic gel/ointment used to relieve itching, burning, discomfort, and pain associated with skin disorders such as sunburns, minor cuts, scrapes, insect bites, plant poisonings, and hemorrhoids. XYLONUMB 2% Injection is also used to numb the gums during dental procedures, treat nerve pain caused by post-herpetic neuralgia, as well as relieve inflammation in the mouth and throat. This medicine may also be used to treat other conditions as determined by your doctor.
The dosage of XYLONUMB 2% Injection prescribed to each patient will vary. Always follow your physicians instructions and/or the directions on the prescription drug label.
Wash your hands well after each application of XYLONUMB 2% Injection medicine. Do not apply the gel/ointment onto the broken skin.
If your physician has instructed or directed you to apply XYLONUMB 2% Injection medication in a regular schedule and you have missed a dose of this medicine, apply it as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, then skip the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule. Do not double the doses unless otherwise directed.
