Talk to your doctor before taking this medicine, if you:
- are allergic to Omeprazole or any of the other ingredients of this medicine
- have throat pain, chest pain, very bad belly pain, trouble swallowing or signs of a bleeding ulcer like black, tarry or bloody stools, throwing up blood, or throw up that looks like coffee grounds
- have risks for soft, brittle bones (osteoporosis)
- have liver, Kidney and white blood cell problems
Tell your doctor about any other medicine you are taking such as:
- nelfinavir, atazanavir (used to treat HIV infection)
- rifampicin (used to treat tuberculosis)
- clopidogrel (used to prevent blood clots (thrombi)
- Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor has told you
- Take this medicine by mouth
- Shake well before use
- Measure liquid doses carefully
- Use the measuring device that comes with this medicine
If you take more ZEGECID 20MG
- If you take more, you should tell your doctor at once or contact the nearest casualty department
If you forget to take ZEGECID 20MG
- Do not take a double dose to make up for a forgotten dose. If you forget to take a dose take it as soon as you remember it and then take the next dose at the right time
If you stop taking ZEGECID 20MG
- Do not stop taking this medicine unless your doctor instructs you to do so
Like all medicines, this medicine cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.

- severe allergic reaction – rash, hives, itching, red, swollen, blistered, wheezing, tightness in the chest or throat, trouble breathing, swallowing, or talking, unusual hoarseness, or swelling of the mouth, face, lips, tongue, or throat
- mood changes, muscle pain or weakness, muscle cramps or spasms, seizures, shakiness, not hungry or a heartbeat that does not feel normal
- unable to pass urine, change in how much urine is passed, blood in the urine
