• ZERODOL SPAS Tablet is used to relieve pain and inflammation in:
• Rheumatoid arthritis (autoimmune disease causing inflammation of joints);
• Ankylosing spondylitis (arthritis of spine);
• Osteoarthritis (arthritis of joints);
• Lumbago (pain in muscles and joints of lower back);
• Menstruation (painful periods);
• Renal colic (kidney stones);

ZERODOL SPAS Tablet may also be prescribed for other conditions as determined by your doctor.

How does ZERODOL SPAS Tablet work?

Aceclofenac is a NSAID (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug), analgesic (pain reliever) and anti-pyretic (reduces fever) medicine. Aceclofenac inhibits an enzyme cyclo-oxygenase, which is responsible of production of prostaglandins in our body (prostaglandins are natural chemicals in our body which promote inflammation). This causes reduction of fever and pain.

Drotaverine is an antispasmodic agent. Drotaverine relieves spasm of smooth muscles and has a vasodilatory effect. Drotaverine acts by inhibiting the enzyme phosphodiesterase 4 (PDE4) and corrects the cyclic AMP (cyclic adenosine monophosphate) and calcium imbalance which relieves the smooth muscle spasm and pain.

How to take ZERODOL SPAS Tablet?

• The dosage of oral tablet of ZERODOL SPAS Tablet depends on the age, weight and medical condition of an individual.
• Take ZERODOL SPAS Tablet as prescribed by your doctor.
• You are advised to take the tablet with or after food.
• Do not discontinue the medication without consulting a doctor.
