ZYRCOLD Tablet tablet/capsule/syrup is used for the treatment of allergic symptoms, such as watery eyes, runny nose, itchy eyes and nose, sneezing, hives, and itching.

ZYRCOLD Tablet may also be prescribed for other conditions as determined by the doctor.

In ZYRCOLD Tablet, Ambroxol belongs to the class of drugs called expectorant drugs. The drug acts by thinning and loosening the mucus, which helps in easy removal of mucus.

Cetirizine belongs to the class of drugs called anti-histamine & anti-allergic drugs. The drug acts by blocking certain chemicals (histamines), which cause allergic symptoms. Thus, it helps in treating allergic symptoms.

The dosage and the drug form depend on the age, weight and medical condition of an individual. Take ZYRCOLD Tablet tablet/capsule/syrup as prescribed by your doctor.

• Swallow the tablet/capsule whole. Do not crush or chew the tablet/capsule.

• Shake the syrup well before taking each dose so as to ensure the uniform mixing of the drug. Use a measuring cup while taking each dose.

If you miss a dose of ZYRCOLD Tablet, please take it as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, then skip the missed dose and continue with your regular dosing schedule. Do not take a double dose to make up for the missed dose.

• Inform the doctor if you have any history of allergic reaction with the usage of ZYRCOLD Tablet.
• Inform your doctor if you have any pre-existing medical conditions, such as enlarged prostate, kidney disease and liver disease.
